Our magnetic drive pumps are made from high-quality metals like stainless steel and Cr-Ni alloy. Magnetic drive pumps feature a balanced magnetic field to create the rotation of the fluid impeller. Unlike traditional centrifugal pumps with direct drive connections between the impeller and motor, mag-drive pumps eliminate the direct drive mechanism and replace it with a magnetic field.

Centrifugal pumps are those driven by an engine and use impellers to increase a fluid’s velocity and pressure. The pump casing is specially designed to constrict the fluid from the pump inlet, direct it into the impeller and then slow and control the fluid before discharge. Centrifugal pumps are usually ideal for higher flows and for pumping lower viscosity liquids, down to 0.1cP.
