Centrifugal Pumps

Centrifugal pumps are those driven by an engine and use impellers to increase a fluid’s velocity and pressure. The pump casing is specially designed to constrict the fluid from the pump inlet, direct it into the impeller and then slow and control the fluid before discharge. Centrifugal pumps are usually ideal for higher flows and for pumping lower viscosity liquids, down to 0.1cP. In some chemical plants, 90% of the pumps in use will be centrifugal pumps. Typical applications involve petrochemical, fine chemical, biochemical, acid pickling, electrolyte, fluorine chemical, desulfurization, paper, printing and dyeing industries. We also provide customized design and construction services for our customers as long as they share with us the name, density, viscosity, particle condition, temperature, pressure and head of the transferred liquid.
